O sinner, heed the voice of God
1
O sinner, heed the voice of God,It speaks to you to-day,And calls you by his sacred wordFrom sin's destructive way.
2
It bids you turn to him, and liveThrough his abounding grace; His mercy will the guilt forgiveOf those who seek his face.
3
Bow to the scepter of his word,Renouncing every sin:Submit to him, your sovereign Lord,And bid him reign within.
