M.» centred over the music, «UNKNOWN.» at the right (capitals and small capitals); running head «WORSHIP—ATTRIBUTES AND PROVIDENCE OF GOD.». Stanza 1 is interlinear, between the staves, with «1.» before «My»; the music sings its last two lines twice, and in the repeat the treble staff and the bass staff sing them in different rhythms, each with its own line of words («Thy sovereign boun-ty is the spring Whence all my bless - ings flow.» under the treble line, «Thy sov - ereign boun - ty is the spring Whence all my blessings flow.» below it for the bass staff) — the stanza below gives the four verse lines once, as a poem. Under the music line 4 ends first with «flow;» and, in the repeat, with «flow.»; the poem keeps the final reading. Stanzas 2–4 are printed as text in the left column below the music, under the reference line «11, 89, 191.» in italics (= may also be sung to the tunes of hymns 11, 89 or 191). «Anne Steele.» in italics after stanza 4. The print sets a thin space before «;», «?» and «!» («owe ;», «live ;», «before ?», «heart ;», «alas !», «O !», «divine ;»); it is closed up here. Spelling, punctuation and capitals are the print's. Lines 2 and 4 of each stanza are indented in the print.
