Jesus made known the path of light
1
Jesus made known the path of light,Which righteous men shall tread; He showed the way, the truth, the life,In rising from the dead.
2
Then let these fleshly yearnings cease,Let joy our hearts expand;Death is to them a peaceful sleepWho keep their Lord's command.
3
This sleeping dust ere long shall rise,And these dead bones awake,When Christ in glory rends the skies,And all the kingdoms shake.
