Great God, whose universal swayAll heaven reveres, all worlds obey,Now make the Saviour's glory known;Extend his power, exalt his throne.

Thy scepter well becomes his hands;Angels submit to his commands;His justice shall protect the poor,And pride and rage prevail no more.
