⤢ Full screenGlory be to God above,God from whom all blessings flow;Make we mention of his love,Publish we his praise below:
Called together by his grace,We are met in Jesus' name;See with joy each other's face,Followers of the bleeding Lamb.
More and more let love abound;Let us never, never rest,Till we are in Jesus found,And of paradise possessed.
About this hymn
As printed Words only. As printed: hymn number «1029» (large) in the right column of p. 352, below stanza 6 of hymn 1028 and its «Charles Wesley.», with the reference line «904, 605, 713,» in bold italic figures beside it — the line ends with a comma, not a period (sing to the tunes of hymns 904 HENDON, 605 ROOT or 713 SCUDAMORE, all «7s.»; no meter is printed — the lines are 7.7.7.7). Stanzas numbered «1»–«3» without periods (written «1.»–«3.» here, as in the other deliveries of this book); lines 2 and 4 of each stanza indented. The first word «GLORY» is set in a capital and small capitals; written «Glory». The period after «Lamb» (stanza 2) is printed very faint and small. «Charles Wesley.» in italics, right-aligned, after stanza 3; the folio «352» stands at the foot of the page. The print sets a thin space before «;» and «:» («flow ;», «below :», «name ;», «abound ;»); it is closed up here, and the printer's curly apostrophes are written straight («Jesus'», «other's»). Spelling («possessed»), punctuation and capitals are the print's.
