As printed As printed: running head «MISCELLANEOUS—OLD MELODIES.»; hymn number «1149» (large), tune name «COME TO JESUS.» centred over the music (condensed capitals and small capitals), «UNKNOWN.» at the right (capitals and small capitals); no metre is printed. Stanza 1 is interlinear, one line in a condensed bold face under the single system: «1. Come to Jesus, come to Je-sus, Come to Je - sus just now, Just now come to Je-sus, Come to Je - sus just now.» (see `lyrics_syllables.txt`); it is given below in verse lines like stanzas 2–5, with the line-end punctuation of the interlinear line («now,» where stanzas 2–5 have «now;»). In the scanned image two letters of that line look like «e» — «come te Je-sus» and «Ceme to» (bar 9): they are pixel-identical copies of one «e» symbol of the JBIG2-compressed scan (symbol substitution), so the image does not show the printed letter; read «to» and «Come» (see `uncertainties.md`). Stanzas 2–5 are printed as text below the music in two columns, numbered «2»–«5» without periods (written «2.»–«5.» here, as in the other deliveries of this book); lines 2 and 4 are indented. «Anon.» in bold italics after stanza 5. The print sets a thin space before «;» («now ;»); it is closed up here. Spelling, punctuation and capitals are the print's.
