⤢ Full screenSing to the Lord, our Might,—
With holy fervor sing;
Let hearts and instruments unite
To praise our heavenly King.
As unto them of old,
Who roamed this wilderness,
Our God is still as near his fold,
To pity and to bless.
Then let us open wide
Our hearts for him to fill;
And he who Israel then supplied,
Will help his Israel still.
About this hymn
As printed Words only. As printed: hymn number «33», reference line «85, 688, 151.» in italics (sing to the tune of hymn 85, 688 or 151), three numbered stanzas at the foot of the right column of p. 15 (the hymn ends here: PDF page 16 opens with hymn 34), the author's name in italics at the end. The first word «SING» is set in small capitals. The print sets a thin space before «;» («sing ;», «fill ;»); it is closed up here. The foot of the right column carries heavy show-through from the verso: stanza 3 (lines 2–4) and the author line are partly overprinted by mirrored text — see `uncertainties.md`. Spelling («fervor»), punctuation («Might,—») and capitals are the print's; lines 2 and 4 of each stanza are indented in the print. No meter is printed (the text is S. M., 6.6.8.6).
