⤢ Full screenCome, sound his praise abroad,
And hymns of glory sing;
Jehovah is the sovereign God,
The universal King.
He formed the deeps unknown,
He gave the seas their bound;
The watery worlds are all his own,
And his the solid ground.
Come, worship at his throne,
Come, bow before the Lord;
We are his work, and not our own;
He formed us by his word.
To-day attend his voice,
Nor dare provoke his rod;
Come, like the people of his choice,
And own your gracious God.
About this hymn
As printed Words only. As printed: hymn number «32», reference line «89, 11, 151.» in italics (sing to the tune of hymn 89, 11 or 151), four numbered stanzas at the top of the right column of p. 15, «Isaac Watts.» in italics at the end. The first word «COME» is set in small capitals. The print sets a thin space before «;» («sing ;», «bound ;», «Lord ;», «own ;», «rod ;»); it is closed up here. The right column of this leaf carries heavy show-through from the verso: stanza 2 (lines 1–3), the end of stanza 3 and the author line are partly overprinted by mirrored text — see `uncertainties.md`. Spelling, punctuation and capitals are the print's; lines 2 and 4 of each stanza are indented in the print. No meter is printed (the text is S. M., 6.6.8.6).
