The text stanzas are numbered without a full stop («2 We»); they are numbered «2.» here like stanza 1. The print sets a thin space before «;», «:» and «!» («sinful ;», «Lord :», «divine !»); it is closed up here, and the opening quotation mark of stanza 4 (printed «" Abba») is written straight and closed up. Spelling, punctuation and capitals are the print's («distill», «hight», «Lost,—until», «cry,—»). The last line of each stanza («Comforter divine!») is indented in the print.
