⤢ Full screenErected high in heaven standsThe tabernacle true; And Jesus there in mercy pleadsFor all the faithful few.
His blood he offers freely nowFor all who will receive,For all who to his truth will bow,And in his word believe.
The Jewish priesthood shadowed forthHis ministration there,The cleansing of the inner court,His coming to prepare.
His work performed, he leaves the seatOf mercy, where is foundThe law of God, the ten commands,And comes with glory crowned.
He that is holy then shall beIn holiness preserved,While sinners vainly strive to fleeThe wrath they've long deserved.
