⤢ Full screenBehold God's own exalted Son,Adored by seraphs bright,A servant now to men become,With men he takes delight.
Admiring angels wondering viewThe condescending loveOf him to whom their homage dueWas offered once above.
Because he loves, he condescendsTo wash his brethren's feet; And leaves example to his friendsOf lowliness complete.
Who would reject his offered grace?Refuse to bow the knee?Disdain to take the humble place,Where he has deigned to be?
Let all who would be like their Lord,Accepted in his sight,Not only hear, but do his word;In doing there's delight.
