Thou hidden Source of calm repose,Thou all-sufficient love divine,My help and refuge from my foes,Secure I am if thou art mine!And, lo! from sin and grief and shameI hide me, Jesus, in thy name.

As printed: hymn number «753» (large) at the top of the right column of p. 245, under the music of hymn 751, with the reference line «234, 320.» in bold italics beside it (= sing to the tune of hymn 234 or 320, both L. M. 6l.); three numbered stanzas of six lines, the whole hymn in the right column; «Charles Wesley.» in italics at the end. The first word is set «THOU», the «T» as a full capital and «HOU» in small capitals; written in ordinary type here. The stanza numbers are printed without a full stop («1» … «3»); written «1.» … here as in the other deliveries of this book. Lines 2 and 4 of each stanza are indented in the print; lines 5 and 6 are flush with line 1. The print sets a thin space before «!», «;» and «:» («mine !», «lo !», «heart ;», «hour ;», «appall :»); it is closed up here.
