At thy command, O Lord, our hope,We come around thy table here;We break the bread, we bless the cup,That show thy death, till thou appear.

Our faith adores thy bleeding love,And trusts for life in One that died;We hope for heavenly crowns aboveFrom a Redeemer crucified.

Let the vain world pronounce it shame,And cast their scandals on thy cause!We come to boast our Saviour's name,And make our triumph in his cross.

M.; no meter is printed — the lines 8.8.8.8 are L. M.). Stanzas 1–2 stand at the foot of the left column; stanzas 3–4 continue at the top of the right column (the numbering «3», «4» runs on), followed by «Isaac Watts.» in italics, right-aligned, and then hymn 1098. The first word «AT» is set in capitals and small capitals; written «At» here. Stanzas numbered «1»–«4» without periods (written «1.»–«4.» here, as in the other deliveries of this book). Lines 2 and 4 of each stanza are indented in the print. The printer's thin space before «; !» («here ;», «died ;», «cause !», «tomb ;») is closed up here; apostrophes written straight. In this copy the type of stanza 2, line 4 is worn («Froni a Redeenier crucified.» at first sight); the words read «From a Redeemer crucified.» (see `uncertainties.md`).
