1

I hear the Saviour say,"Thy strength indeed is small;Child of weakness, watch and pray,Find in me thine all in all."

Chorus.

Jesus paid it all,All to him I owe;Sin had left a crimson stain:He washed it white as snow.

2

Lord, now indeed I findThy pow'r, and thine alone,Can change the leper's spots,And melt the heart of stone.

3

Since nothing good have IWhereby thy grace to claim,I'll wash my garment whiteIn the blood of Calvary's Lamb.

4

And when before the throneI stand in him complete,I'll lay my trophies down,All down at Jesus' feet.

About this hymn

As printed As printed: hymn number «1193» (large, left), title «ALL TO CHRIST I OWE.» centred (condensed capitals with larger initials); under it, centred, the epigraph «"Who his own self bare our sins."—1 Peter 2 : 24.»; «MRS. ELVINA M. HALL.» at the left and «JOHN T. GRAPE.» at the right (capitals and small capitals); no meter, no reference line and no running head are printed. The four stanzas are interlinear, «1.»–«4.» before the lines of system 1; the chorus, headed «CHORUS.», is printed once in systems 3–4 and is sung after every stanza. «By permission.» is printed under the music, above the page number «411». The print sets a thin space before «;» and «:» («small ;», «owe ;», «stain :»); it is closed up here. Apostrophes and quotation marks are written straight («pow'r», «I'll», «Jesus'», «"Thy … all."»). Words divided under the notes are joined («Sav-iour», «Where- by», «Cal-vary's» → «Saviour», «Whereby», «Calvary's»); each stanza is set in its four verse lines (the print runs two verse lines on one staff line). Spelling, punctuation and capitals are the print's («Saviour», «pow'r», «him»).
