1

Lo! what an entertaining sightThose friendly brethren proveWhose cheerful hearts in bands uniteOf harmony and love!

2

Where streams of bliss from Christ, the spring,Descend on every soul; And heavenly peace with balmy wingShades and revives the whole.

3

'T is pleasant as the morning dewsThat fall on Zion's hill,Where God his mildest glory shows,And makes his grace distill.

About this hymn

As printed Words only. As printed: hymn number «1015» (large) in the left column of p. 348, under hymn 1014 («Joseph Swain.»), with the reference line «201, 794, 308.» in italic figures beside it (sing to the tunes of hymns 201, 794 or 308; no meter is printed — the lines 8.6.8.6 are C. M., like the referenced tunes). Stanzas numbered «1»–«3» without periods (written «1.»–«3.» here, as in the other deliveries of this book); lines 2 and 4 indented. The first word «Lo» is probably set as a capital + small capital (see `uncertainties.md`); written «Lo». «Anon.» in italics, right-aligned, at the foot of the column. The print sets a thin space before «!» and «;» («Lo !», «love !», «soul ;»); it is closed up here. The apostrophes («'T is», «Zion's») are written straight; «'T is» keeps the print's space. Stanza 2, line 1 («Where streams of bliss from Christ, the spring,») is broken by the column width in the print («spring,» on a line of its own) and is joined here. Spelling («distill»), punctuation and capitals are the print's.
